Job Description:
Will be responsible for
working on AVDLs platform in providing design/drafting services to AV
System Integrators.
This role includes mostly doing architectural and audio-visual design and drafting work.
With the application platform under development, you will be engaged in using our applications to provide services to our customers in the near future.
This is a hands-on role. The Design Engineer must understand the clients' overall business and how to position value.
The position requires the ability to multi-task between team members in the support of different sales opportunities, and other initiatives.
Key skills will be teamwork and interacting with customers on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
Engage directly with customers to provide 2D drawings using various tools including but not limited to AutoCAD.
Review documentation and details provided by the customer to convert to meaningful audio-visual ow diagrams and architectural drawings set.
Estimate labor required to perform drafting work based on the information provided by the customer.
Build and maintain a library of blocks and details using AutoCAD for internal AVDL use as well as specic customer requirements.
Keep up to date on various audio visual products in the market and provide feedback and input to team members on roadmap requirements and product direction.
Communicate with clients by email and phone and maintain turnaround times and deadlines set by the customers.
Collect customer feedback, enhancements and feature requests and disseminate ndings to team leaders in order to continuously improve our product offerings.
Participates in team meetings for education and product strategies.
Attends tradeshows and marketing events as needed.
